ANALYSIS OF HEADING.

 

ဒေါသ P. anger. ကြီး to be great. လှ to be pretty = very. ရတ္တိဣသရိ Ratti Isari (or as, B. pronounce Ratti Ithari) an Indian woman's name. သတို့ this word prefixed to သား or သ္မီး gives an idea of gentility; always pro nounced thadó.

 

ကြည်ဖြူ to be well disposed towards, lit, to be clear and white; 

สบอารมณ์ , รู้สึกเป็นที่พอใจ , รู้สึกชอบใจขึ้นมา

พอแก่เฒ่าไร้สรรถภาพ ก็รู้สึกไม่เป็นที่พอใจแล้วหรือ

အိုမင်းမစွမ်းဖြစ်လာတော့ မကြည်ဖြူကြတော့ပါလား

ကြည်ညို (clear and dark) has the same meaning.

เลื่อมใส

เมื่อถึงพระเจดีย์ชเวดากอง ต่างก็รู้สึกเลื่อมใส

ရွှေတိဂုံစေတိတော်သို့ သွားရောက် ကြည်ညိုကြတယ်

သိပ် to put to sleep (transitive of အိပ်).

ก. กล่อม (ให้นอน)

กล่อมเด็ก ကလေးကိုသိပ်တယ်

กล่อมเด็กให้นอนอยู่ใต้ต้นไม้ ကလေးကို သစ်ပင်အောက်မှာသိပ်ထားတယ်

လယ် ထွန် ယောက်ျ၁း ကမ်း စင်း ရိုး ၌ ထား သော ထမင်း ထုပ် ကို နေ့ တိုင်း ကျီး စား သော့ကြောင့် ထောင် လေ သော ကျော့ ကွင်း တွင် မိ လေ ၏။ The crow, because it eat every day a ploughman's packet of rice which he placed on a ridge, was caught in a snare which (he) had set.

อีกาเพราะว่ามันกินข้าวห่อหนึ่งห่อของนักไถซึ่งเขาวางไว้บนสันเขาทุกวันจึงติดบ่วงซึ่ง (เขา) วางไว้

From ကမ်း to ကို is as it were all one word, making the preceding composite word in the genitive. 

เหมือนกับที่มันเป็นคำเดียวทั้งหมด ทำให้คำก่อนหน้าในสัมพันธการก

to catch in a noose. เพื่อจับบ่วง

(She) having come to take the crow which was caught, the cultivator said, 'This crow, indeed, is my crow.'

(นาง) มาเพื่อเอาอีกาที่จับได้นั้นมา ผู้ฝึกตนกล่าวว่า 'อีกานี้ แท้จริงแล้ว เป็นอีกาของข้าพเจ้า'

often used to denote intention มักใช้เพื่อแสดงถึงเจตจำนง

The child’s mother also said, Supposing it is your crow, ought it to kill my child?" 

แม่ของเด็กยังพูดอีกว่า สมมติว่าเป็นอีกาของเธอ ควรจะฆ่าลูกฉันไหม"

လျော် or ရော် to forfeit ที่จะริบ

ก. ชดใช้ , ทดแทน

ถ้าไม่สามารถชดใช้สิ่งนี้ได้ ก็ต้องหลุดจากงาน ဒါကို မလျော်နိုင်ရင် အလုပ်အပြုတ်ပဲ

ฉันต้องชดใช้เงิน สองร้อยจั๊ต เพราะพลั้งเอารถชนเขา ကျမ သူ့ကိုကားတိုက်မိလို့ ငွေ ၂၀၀၀ ကျပ်လျော်ရတယ်

ว. สมควร

พระไม่สมควรสูบบุหรี่ ဘုန်းကြီး ဆေးလိပ်သောက်တာ မလျော်ဘူး

လယ် ထွန် ယောက်ျား မ သက် သာ ၍ ပညာရှိ သော တရား သူကြီး ရှေ့ တွင် ဆို လေ သော် တရားသူကြီး က ဤ စကား သည်။ သင့် လင် နှင့် ရန် ဖြစ် ၍ တ ရွာ သို့ သွားရာ တွင် ခရီး 

ဝေး ၍ ထန် ပင် ရိပ် တွင် နား လေ ၏။ The cultivator not being satisfied, having stated the case before a wise judge, the judge said, 

'This is the case, quarrelling with your husband whilst going to another village, (you), the way being long, rested in the shade of a palm-tree.

ผู้เพาะปลูกไม่พอใจ ได้กล่าวถึงคดีนี้ต่อหน้าผู้พิพากษาที่ฉลาดแล้ว ผู้พิพากษากล่าวว่า

'เป็นกรณีนี้ ทะเลาะกับสามีขณะไปที่หมู่บ้านอื่น (คุณ) ทางยาวพักอยู่ใต้ร่มเงาของต้นอินทผลัม

သို့ ဖြစ် ၍ လယ် ထွန် ယောက်ျား နှင့် တကွ သား တ ယောံ ရ အောင် ပြု လော့။ သား ရ မှ သင့် လင် အား အပ် ပေး စေ ထူ ၍ ဆုံးဖြတ် လေ သတည်း 'That being so, act with the plough man so as to get a child, after getting a child, let it be given to your husband:'  (thus) saying he gave a decision.

'เช่นนั้นจงกระทำกับผู้ไถเพื่อให้ได้บุตรเมื่อได้บุตรแล้วจงมอบให้แก่สามีเถิด' (ดังนั้น) กล่าวว่าเขาได้ตัดสินใจแล้ว
